Who this covers

This policy explains what happens to information you submit on groundfxlandscape.com, operated by Ground FX Environmental Landscape Services ("Ground FX", "we", "us"), serving South Florida.

What we collect

We only collect information you type into the quote request form on this site. We do not collect anything else, and there is no account to create.

Where it goes when you submit

When you press "Send My Request", three things happen:

• Your submission is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to Netlify, the company that hosts this website and processes its form submissions on our behalf.
• It is stored in our Netlify account as a record of your inquiry, including any photos you attached.
• An email notification containing every field you submitted is sent to Matt at matt@groundfxlandscape.com so your request is seen promptly. Our business email is filtered by Proofpoint and delivered through Microsoft 365.

You only see a confirmation message after Netlify has accepted your submission. If it fails, we tell you plainly and ask you to call or email instead, rather than leaving you to assume your request went through.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare an estimate or design proposal, schedule a site visit, and perform work you hire us to do. If you become a client, your contact and property details are also used for scheduling, service records, and billing.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

What we never do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not rent, trade, or share it with data brokers, lead-generation services, or advertisers.
• We do not add you to a marketing list from a quote request without telling you.

Who else can see it

Your information is accessible to Ground FX owners and staff who need it to respond to you or perform work. Beyond that, it is only handled by the service providers that operate our website and email:

• Netlify — website hosting and form submission storage. See the Netlify Privacy Policy.
• Proofpoint and Microsoft — business email filtering and delivery for the notification sent to Matt.
• Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. No form data is sent to Google.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to enforce a contract or protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries that do not become projects: retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up or reference prior conversations, then deleted from our Netlify submission records.
• Clients: project and service records, including property details and photos, are retained for as long as you remain a client and afterward as required for business, warranty, tax, and accounting purposes.
• Email notifications: the notification email in our business inbox is retained under our normal email retention practices, which may outlast the website record.

Your choices

You may ask us to provide a copy of the information you submitted, correct it, or delete it. Email matt@groundfxlandscape.com or call 772-233-9550 and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep certain records where we have a legal or contractual obligation to do so.

Photos you send us are used to understand and plan your project. We will not publish them in our gallery, marketing, or on social media without asking you first.

Security

Submissions travel over encrypted HTTPS connections, and this site sends security headers instructing browsers to load it safely. Access to our Netlify account and business email is limited to authorized people. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging landscaping services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Text messages and calls

By giving us your phone number, you agree we may call or text you about your inquiry and any work we perform. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text or tell us on a call to stop contacting you that way.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect, use, or store your information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
